Hidden network card

I switched some PCI cards around for better access and now when I put in the TCP/IP configuration for my network card it says I already have the IP assigned to another card, but its hidden because its no longer installed. My question is how to do delete the hidden card?
 
Interesting...I was having the same issue, but I couldn't see the hidden card even after I checked "show hidden devices". I ended up having to edit the registry. I went from using a Linksys NIC to an Nvidia Nforce2 on-board NIC. What were your old and new NICs?
 
did you uninstall the card first in the device manager ? thats usually the best way . then it can be reinstalled properly.
