Georgians Plan Whites-Only Prom Party

In retaliation to the first(!!) integrated prom in the history of this community of hicks, a number of white students are planning on holding a separate "white only" prom! I could not beleive this! The best part is, they have a white student body president and a black one. Does anyone else find this absolutely amazing? In 21st century America, none the less. I'm dumbfounded, and I'm a Texan!

I know I wouldn't want to go to that prom. I mean, I can't imagine getting it on with my cousin, can you?

No, I think if they were denying blacks the right to enter it would be illegal, but what black person is going to want to go to a prom where they know they are blatantly not wanted? Besides, the fact that they felt compelled to have a separate prom and that some are boycotting the interracial one is outrageous enough. Seriously, these people look like the biggest group of inbred cow fvckers on the face of the planet right now.

As long as it's not the official school sanctioned prom it probably is. We still have the right of free association at private functions.
With that said, I agree it's the dumbest damn thing I've heard of and would have no part in it.

Freedom of association is a beautiful thing. If you don't like white only prom, don't go. As long as the government isn't paying for it.

Actually, cattle aren't a big industry in GA . . . but the pigs, chickens, and turkeys are all walking with their derrieres to the wall.

Haven't you heard of Black History Month or Black Miss USA pagent. If there was a White History Month or a White Miss USA pagent the civil rights leaders would be screaming bloody murder. Truth be told I feel that blacks are bigger racists than whites. Now before you think I am that way, I am not. Civil rights leaders scream for equality all the time, but they can't get past having Black this or Black that. What about quotas and affirmative action. It may have been needed at one time, but it's a dead horse now too.

When I was in college the African American Student Association held a Miss Black University Pageant. I tried to enter my GF, a white girl, in the pageant and a damn riot broke out. They wouldn't let her sign up and got damn nasty about it. At that point I decided to organize a Miss White University Pageant but the school refused to allow it....even though they were sanctioning and financially supporting the Miss Black Pageant. Fair? I think not.

Whatever race only events are all ridiculous and racist....funny though how things like Miss Black Pageants are allowed to continue but Miss White ones are immediately labeled as racist and insensitive. Until we get past all the bullsh1t White/Black/Hispanic/Asian/Whatever garbage we will never be an equal society. So your ancestors came from Africa, Asia, Europe, wherever....big f?ing whoop. You're an American. A M E R I C A N. AMERICAN! No freaking hyphens, no descriptive colors...just AMERICAN.

personally I would roll in all pimped out like dennis rodman and say "Where are all the white women?"

BTW way are all of "African" decent, saying so is just redundant.

Can we take up a collection for everyone who attends the prom? Then we can give each of them DNA testing and show them the level of "African" dna in their genetic code, should be higher than the national average due to their geographic location. Then we can tell them they ALL have to leave, no mixed races, especially mixed Africans. Sounds like a great school they attended, they barely even needed the fine moral guidiance they recieved at home. Can we at least raise enough money to sterilize them before they breed? I would suggest lobotamys, but it seems rather pointless given the circumstances.

In fact, let's do this - Except for surveys and censuses, let no piece of paper, whether a loan application, a university admissions form, or other such document, EVER have race on it. Seriously.

I mean, a racist is someone who thinks people with differing skin colors deserve differing treatment, correct?

Wouldn't that definition make affirmative action racist? Or is racist only confined to discrimination against underpriviliged minorities?

What's that? Dead silence? That's what I thought.

I'm reminded of an interview I once saw with one of the winners in the Athletics World Championchips. Kriss Akabusi, team member of the winners of the 400 meter relay, was being interviewed by an American journalist.

She asked, "So, Kriss, what does this mean to you as an African-American?"

He replied cooly, with a thick Liverpool accent, "I'm not American, I'm British."

She rethought the question. "Yes, but as a British African-American ..."

Getting flustered, he replied, "I'm not African. I'm not American. I'm British."

This went on for some time before the reporter got so flustered that she gave up and went to interview someone else. I guess more than anything else it demonstrates the potential absurdity of political correctness -- this reporter was so tied-up with the idea that the "correct" term for someone of afro-caribbean ancestry was African-American and not Black that she couldn't cope with the fact that many black people are neither African nor American.

Another example: I once read a report on sickle cell anemia that claims that it affects "...1 in 400 African-Americans". Now this is true as far as it goes, but it conceals the real fact that it's an illness which affects people of an African origin no matter where they live now. A black child in Britain could have it, and he'd never been to America in his life, neither had any of his family. And I'm sure that the millions of native Africans who have also never been to the USA but also suffer from the illness would be equally astounded to hear that it only affects African-Americans.

Welcom to the US. I am sure this happens all the time but these Georgians were not smart enough to keep it quiet.
