hibernation problem

I posed this question on another section of the forum to no avail...I cannot get my computer to automatically hibernate. After reloading windows, it worked for a short period, and then wouldn't hibernate again. I'm told it could be a hardware issue, or a driver issue. All bios and control panel settings are correct. Can anyone give me a clue as to why this won't work properly? Thanks...

Not the right forum. But possibly under power management settings in bios or OS. Try General HW, Tech support, or Operating systems.
