I was on the wagon for almost a year . . . oh, I thought about it all the time, but I managed to keep from doing it.

In July, my willpower failed, and I did it - but I felt guilty about. Oh, it was a wondrous thing, though . . .

I found an excuse to do it again three weeks ago . . . and today <sob> I just did it again.

I'm speaking of upgrading my computer, of course. 😀 I struggled with a 1 Ghz T-bird for 13 long months . . . then got a 1900XP. It's mama board died . . . so I got a P4 2.0A and Epox combo at Fry's. But 400 MHz FSB wasn't enough . . . I had to have more. So I got a 2.4B. And the wonderful Fed Ex man brought it today, and now my computer is ever faster . . . but . . . is that DDR400 from Newegg I hear calling my name?

I've held if off pretty well. I finally upgraded my G400 to a spankin' Radeon 9700. Running an Athlon XP 1900+.

heh....I'll probably have to wait at least another year/year and half before I upgrade.....

Til then, my Duron 750 will serve me well 🙂
