Right now I am running a 2.4c on a abit IT7MAX2 .v2 = 845PE chipset -
Has anyone else had good luck with the same or similar setup as Mine - need to know - asus, abit msi, fic - whatever...

let me know what kind of results you got... and the type of memory you are using.... the kingmax I have I am returning to neweggoo - for and just ordered some OCZ stuff -

Also let me know what O/S you are using - running when 2k - which I love - and for me it has been wicked stable Vern!... who needs any stinking badges (or service packs)...

thanks for reading and responding...

I doubt you'll get more than 200fsb with that 845pe motherboard. It's already overclocked 67 mhz. I'd feel pretty lucky if I was you to get 200mhz fsb out of an that motherboard though. Try getting a new 865pe so you can overclock that 2.4c past stock settings.

I played around with an Albatron 845PE and a 2.4C last summer. Worked fine at 200MHz but I didn't try to OC it, I was running it undervolted to 1.25V to see how cool it would run. Ran the memory (Mushkin Level II PC3200) at 200MHz, 2-3-3-6. Ran all kinds of Memtest86 + Prime95 + looped 3DMark to check for stability and it passed everything I threw at it with flying colors.

Hey guys, thanks for responding my 2.4c is @ 220 fsb - I've had the It7 v.2 for quite awhile now and just got around to throwing that 2.4c into it... super stable O/S but not sure about memory and PCI bus -

oh well - I might be selling my mobo on ebay or something - and get an asus mobo it seems like the way to go...

Does anyone know if win2k can O/C well - It's all I got right now....

thanks
Dan...
