The joke is that during the rampant "Free iPod!" pyramid-scheme days of the Internet, this forum would have several new members a day signing up to solicit more people with the promise of a "free iPod" so that they can earn their free iPod themselves. It became synonymous with drive-by posters and spammers.
Your lack of obvious motivation for signing up other than to promote the music mentioned in your username is triggering our spidey sense. Your responses have been encouraging though.

I can win your heart if you believe in me! My music is the most important thing to me, so I try to lead with that whenever I meet new people. Don't get me wrong, I'd love you to listen to all of it, but I'm not going to spam the forum with links.

The only people that regret me are those that trolled me or others in their times of need or are just being dicks every chance they get.
I am an OG onliner where we actually traveled and met up in the past when the internet thing started and in the BBS days just got together every so often.
People then would try to troll with things like "just kill that dumb animal" or "you can steal that easy" and instead of agreeing the masses said "WTF!"
