this is my first post, my son (mojoed) got me hooked. this is my very first forum membership and i'm having a blast.

i'm 60 years young and i never ever thought i would use the computer for anything beyond solitaire and email. i've learned so much from you people, thank you so much! i would have never dreamed that i'd establish a hobby like this from a computer! if all goes well and i continue to learn, i plan on building my first computer sometime next year. 😀

i look forward to getting to know you guys and thank you again for stirring up this old noggin of mine!

OMG my dad is a noob...

He's been lurking forever. He's picking up on the computer/tech stuff quickly, but he's baffled by OMGBBQ, 733t, and all that d00d speak. It's actually quite funny watching him try to read out loud the multitude of acronym's seen here. He just doesn't get them at ALL. :laugh:

Oh yea, please don't corrupt him lol
