Check your local BB for this LCD. My store has it for $529 - $130 rebate = $400. On bestbuy.com, there's a $80 rebate (accept copy). So, $320 for a 17" LCD. Didn't find any review. Only drawback for this LCD is response time : 50ms. Not good for gamer. Other than that, it's all good.

Online price is $629.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but is the 17" viewable really what they say it is? 17" monitor with a 17" viewable screen, hrm.

Seems a lil' fishy to me... but all is well then this is a great deal! Haven't seen such a cheap LCD monitor for ages. Cheapest found was an unknown brand for $400...

yes, for lcd's the viewable size is the same as the screensize.

LCD monitor sizes always refer to the viewable image.

Great Price!!!
If you can get the apparent mis-price at BB (Diff b/w online and in-store). But a couple questions, noticed the 1yr warranty, what's the lifetime of the backlight? Also this is an analog input, not as good as the digital. Be careful, might break in 13 months and then the difference in price won't be all that great.

The only Mag $80 rebates on their site are for 14 and 15" LCD's.
But the 17" one is listed as manufactured by Proview, but has the right model #.
Did Proview buy Mag?

Do BB.com rebates work for instore purchases?

Also only has a 50ms response time, but for $320 (if true) can't complain.

it does have a very nice contrast ration of 400:!, it may be a good monitor for overall design, but not for games

That is BS. I dont see anywhere on that rebate form anything that justifies that.
Anyways, I picked up one in the store and the store rebate # is 27667. Both require copy of the receipts and copy of the upc code.
As far as 1 year warranty, dont fret, buy it with your American Express Card and they will double your warranty to 2 years for FREE

Yes, nowhere it's said we can't get both rebates. I think there's also a $90 19" CRT which all has two rebates.

BTW, All American Express can get a double warranty?
