Why would Iran's ambassador need a pager from Hezbollah? No need answer as its a rhetorical statement as we all know the answer!

Just found out one of my employees has multiple family members injured and the poor guy is completely distraught. Just sickening at this point.

Nearly 3000 injured it’s saying? What the actual fuck.
Putin has caused over 1 million deaths / wounded in Europe. Still climbing by thousands / day. Every day. For years. With only the promise of more.
Which is to say... war is hell and Israel is still small potatoes compare to the actual horror shows going on today.

This is Lebanon's price to pay for bombing another country. It would be in their best interests to stop, but this is an act of war and we should all expect more to follow.

Wouldn't these pagers be a chief example of a dumb device, likely used due to being cheap?

Apparently the batteries blew up?? Did Mossad just jimmy all double AA batteries and replace liners with C4 or something??

Highly doubt it was batteries. I’d guess this was a supply chain introduction of explosives etc….

I think people are gonna be buying a whole lot less iphones from now on.. the dangerous of spying from smart tech was always there but things going boom and blowing your genitals out if it's in your front pocket??

Most people will say no thanks.. and the conspiracy theories will be endless.

I deal with safety analysis of lithium ion batteries and they don’t detonate the way the did in the video I saw.

There was something else in those pagers.

Yeah very likely RDX..

Very similar to the assassination of Rajiv Gandhi but without the small iron pellet projectiles that flew in every direction and killed 16 people or so along with the bomber.

I saw a documentary once on how that was done.. infact here it is..

Warning: EXTREMELY GRAPHIC
(think you actually have to consent to watch it on Youtube)
and real video about the bomb investigation starts at 4:23

  • This is what CNN is saying:
  • Israel to blame: Israel was behind the attack, CNN has learned. Earlier in the day, the Lebanese government condemned the attack as “criminal Israeli aggression.”
  • How it happened: The explosives were planted next to the battery in each pager, and a switch embedded to detonate them remotely, according to the New York Times. The devices detonated simultaneously after receiving a message.

How is this not terrorism?

Can Lebanon now go drop 2,000 pounds on Israeli schools and apartment buildings?

Because it targeted Hezbollah directly.
Having bombs explode in peoples pockets while they are shopping is not targeting only Hezbollah.

I doubt you'd feel that it was perfectly legit if the Taliban just had 3,000 bombs randomly go off in the pockets of random US solders. No, that would be terrorism 100%.

Hezbollah and any innocent people who happened to be standing nearby. Such as that grocery worker.
Hezbollah is the one being targeted. Any non-hezbollah casualties doesn't make it terrorism.

The minute you target civilians for the purpose of terrorising them, that makes it terrorism.

If the exact same thing happened in the other direction, it would be declared terrorism.
