if the garbage company asks you to consolidate your recycled items together (all materials in one can...glass, paper, plastic) how do they sort it out? or is it just easier for them to pick up

if they are a garbage company they don't sort it. it's garbage to them. they just take it to the dump.

the recycling company on the other hand ...

ok i meant waste managemeant, around where i live (alhambra, ca) we have 2 trucks, 1 for garbage 1 for recycling. the garbage truck uses a mechanical arm to pick up (their special) trash cans, we used to put our recycleables in seperate bins which are picked up by hand into the recycle truck, now they use the same system as garbage trucks and how do they sort it out?
