Rather than starting another thread for a suggestion, I might as well crap in Monel's thread.🙂

When you search for posts by username, how about making the links in the result list take us directly to the first post by the specific user.

If I'm searching for a post by Monel and the search brings up a 100+ post thread, rather than skimming through all those posts for Monel's, how about adding #number to the links in the result list.

That would be a resource nut and most users first posts are archived if not deleted at some point.

I think what he meant by "user's first post" is the first post by that user in a particular thread. But yeah, I can understand how it would take some system resources to do that. It's fine with me the way it is.

As long as we are here. How about being able to search for a thread by the user starting the thread. If you do a search by username it brings up everything they posted in.
