i have no problem if you write checks to pay your mortgage or your phone bill but for fvcks sake stop wasting everyones time writing a check for $3.87 at the grocery store. USE A GODDAMN CHECK CARD! they are free from the bank that hosts your checking account! the worst is those $hit head people who want to balance their check book right there. bah!

I can't believe your american fast food restaurants accept check. I was in KFC in the states and they wouldn't take my mastercard, nor my bank card, but they would take check. In canada even Sears will not take check! (cheque in canada, eh) Everything here is plastic or cash
 
You should go to the store earlier if you are in such a big hurry. Checks are faster at some places here anyway. Heck, the main branch of my bank is across the street from a local supermarket and it takes 30-120 seconds to have the debit card go through.

we have a lot of places around here now where they don't even ask you to sighn anything anymore for check cards... man it's soooo sweet, slide and you are gone 😀

i buy everything with credit card... end of month pay off credit card online with direct transfer from bank..voila

its ATOT! In the beginning, I too had high expectations. I have come to realize i set those to high, now I have 0, so any threads that arn't worthless crap...its a plus, otherwise no biggie. 😀
 
So umm yeah. Use your fvcking debit/check card asshats. The absolute worst thing in the world is those who had 300 items and didn't start writing ANY portion of the check until the total button was hit. Hey dumbass you can fill in everything but the amount. Sheesh.
 
The absolute worst is the old elderly bitch in the express lane writing a check at the speed of sh1t nuggets that won't let go. :|:|
