Hey, Soyo DYLM24D6 Owners!

I first posted this question in the Soyo "hot deals" thread, but that thread seems to be pretty much dead, so I thought I'd try here ....

Can you Soyo owners test something for me? Can you tell me if the center of the monitor, when looked at straight on, seems darker than the sides? This is usually more noticeable with a darker image--say a photograph of someone wearing a dark suit. Drag the photograph across your desktop without moving your head and see if the photo lightens up on the left side of the screen, gets darker in the center, losing detail, then lightens up on the right side again.

I used to own a S-PVA screen that did this and it drove me crazy. I really want to get the Soyo, but I want to see if it's M-PVA screen suffers from the same flaw ...

I don't know about Monitors...but Soyo as a company sucks balls...

I purchased a bundle of theirs...(eg. mainboard, PSU and case) and was waiting for a couple of rebates....well...let's just say one of the three rebates arrived...the others were invalidated incorrectly and when I tried to contact Soyo to tell them that they were wrong...the emails went unanswered...I'm sure others here have had problems with Soyo rebates as well...

Thanks for responding. Yes, I've read bad things about them and rebates here. However, there is no rebate attached to the monitor, so that at least, should not be an issue.
