It's gonna get the Moto X3 Pure.

And a bunch of Samsung phones and the Nexus phones.

And coverage will be expanding to T-mobile too.

And there looks like there might be a BYOD in there too, but I can't find it.

My mom and wife are paying $15 per month for unlimited talk and text. Pretty good service since 3 years ago.

Republic used to offer $25 unlimited everything. Now, they have data buckets.

$10 unlimited talk and text is what I'm usually on (because there's so much free WiFI everywhere), but for road trips I'll often pay another $10 one month to buy a gig of data.

Isn't that the same price as Fi? Price being equal, why not go with Fi? You get T-Mobile and Sprint coverage.

The only reason not to go with Fi in this instance is that you have more phone selections with Republic.

I'm grandfathered in at tmobile for $40 for unlimited talk text and data so these deals aren't much better.

Sorry, some misinformation in my previous post, it's $7.50 for the first 500mb, with refunds of unused data. Personally, I'm pleased as can be to spend $10 per month when I'm always in WiFi range, and then add $7.50 on months where I'll be traveling and need data, and then receive a partial refund for unused data.

If you use a LOT of data, $40 unlimited could be nice, but with a bit of thought I can average about $12 per month. I really only use data for navigation and hangouts.

Er, Fi is $20/mo base and then $10/gb.

Republic is $10/mo base and then $7.50/gb.

OTOH, Republic is kinda buggy in a lot of ways. Like, they give you a VOIP number and a hidden Sprint number. THe problem is that the hidden Sprint number can be dialed and it is often someone's old number. So I've been getting lots of phone calls for people seeking a middle aged mother of two.

Does Fi charge tax? I end up paying about $14/mo with Republic once taxes are taken into account.

I'm considering moving from RW to Fi, because I live right on the Canadian border. Fi seems to offer less value if you aren't near the border, though.
