forget about new driver releases for the 5500, if you want vastly faster framerates in q3 just go to the following link and download these dll's...and post your before and after results with the 5500. With my radeon 64ddr and my athlon 550, my framerates at the lower resolutions(which is what the nvidia fans seem to care about) went from 115 to 155 fps(in fast mode)

Actually everyone check them out, they'll work with any video cardshugashack

you'll notice good framerate increases at higher res. also

There is a warning that it may not work woth some custom server mods, but RA3 does work great for me anyway 🙂

The only reason why these drivers work in RA3 is because the RA3 bypasses these dlls when its played. Pure server ignores them.

as far as I know, there are issues with mods not being useable with the .dll's
