If McCain was running we might actually be talking issues. Of course, the Republicans wouldn't want that. I might even vote McCain if he was running. It would come down to the issues then. Right now it's all about getting rid of Bush for me.

while there are many people id rather have as president than bush, john mccain is not one of them. The fact that he is so neutral and won't say ANYTHING about kerry's record or stances kind of bothers me. I dont see him as a leader, just an all around good person with strong morals and a good senator. A very likable and repectable man, but I think I'd stick w/ Bush over McCain for Pres.

Speak for yourself - I can never vote for a guy seeking to limit political speech (protected under the First Amendment) without major reservations. I'm not one to agree with the ACLU on a regular basis, but I agree with their assessment of campaign finance 'reform'.

I wanted McCain to win in the 2000 primary, so, yeah. But, it would now hinge on whether or not he would put neocons in his administration or not.

Interesting. I don't plan on voting for Kerry and I already knew Bush wasn't in my best interest. Guess it's none of the above for me.

Wow i would have never guessed this :p What i don't like though is the "no prefence/alternative solution/ not sure" answer because some were alternative solution, but i don't see how it factors "i have a different idea" and "i don't care" as the same thing~

Kerry and Bush are just business as usual, "he lied", "no he lied", "well you like boys". Their back and forth, and the morons shaping each candidate's campaign, just want to get enough people on their side to win, screw the rest.

Maybe its just a crazy dream, but McCain actually seems like someone whose primary intent is to make America a somewhat cohesive unit again, which I've heard is a good thing. This is just from seeing at his RNC speech and some other spots I've seen him on, I haven't followed him that closely.

My vote's for Kerry right now, but I'd drop him in a heartbeat for McCain. Black baby or not (FU Bush 2000).
