Its not my fault they still act like their team should already be setting aside space for another Lombardi.
Deeko, it's only arrogance when you don't back it up. They've won the SB three years out of the past four. If they expect to win, that's a contributing factor to their success.
As for Brady being the next Montana, I'm not even sure what that means. He's Tom Brady, and he's wearing three rings, and two SB MVP trophies. He doesn't need to be the next Joe Montana.

Trent Dilfer has a Superbowl ring.

Joe Montana is one of the, if not the greatest QB of all time. Brady is not. People can stop making the comparisons now.

Now, I'm not gonna lie, the Patriots are a good team - but what was icing on the cake.. Well, an addtional layer of icing on the cake after LT took them to school was how Brady was being a little baby after the game and didn't even walk out on the feild to exchange plesantries with the team that just gave them the worst schlacking ever. Yesterday was an excellent day for bitter footbal fans.

Fixed, Brady's been the classiest guy around for a long time, always says/does good things, and I'm sure he was very frustrated yesterday just like everyone else. He's not the only player ever that let frustration get the better of him.

So, the way he acted right when the game was over and in the press confrence was justified becuase he has been 'classy' in the past?

I don't think I would have this strong of an opinion if in the press confrence he simply would have said 'We got beat by a better team today'. Instead, he started making up excuses. Excuses, excuses, blah, blah blah. Other teams have problems too. They're just not under a microscope and he should have realized that.

Sorry Pats fans. Injuries suck, and it seems that Patriots are doomed to get their share all in one season.

As a Packer's fan, I'm going into therapy pretty soon. :(

Then they better right the ship in a hurry. Next 2 games: at Atlanta at Denver.

Those are some pretty tough games.

2-4 going into the bye week?

Your point being?

No argument with your statement regarding Montana. I don't think anyone with a pulse will argue that. But you're restating what I have already said: Brady doesn't need to be compared to Montana. He's had a career already that some of the greats would give up their loved ones for. As for who I would rather have in their respective prime, I'll let you choose first. You can't lose with either one.
Of course, Eli "The Big Easy" Manning will soon make this argument moot...;)

So how many superbowls has your team won recently?

Last time I checked, my team has both been in and won more than any other team in history.

Last time I checked, the past is the past, lets talk about this season, where I called for a mediocore season for my team, whereas Pats fans as early as two days ago were still calling for a repeat.

The past is the past, but it still does matter

Anyways i highly doubt that the pats will be in the playoffs much less the superbowl this year. You can win every time. Our injuries and loss of players have caught up with us. Anyone who says the pats are going to win again this year is an idiot.

Fine, lets talk about the past, my team has been in 8 Superbowls and won 5.

But have they won 3 superbowls out of four years?

hmmm...oh yea, yes they did. 92, 93, 95. And in that down year where they didn't win, instead of not making the playoffs, they were a single play away from making the 94 superbowl as well.

The Patriots could go 8-8 and still win the division (12-4 is my guess though). Leave it to Deeko to overstate one game. I love how he forgets that the Patriots were once 0-2 to start the season, only to go on and win the Super Bowl :)

The interesting thing about the Patriots... each Super Bowl win they've had has been by exactly 3 points. I won't deny they've been a good team in the recent past, but they've really had luck on their side with their Super Bowls.

The niners won 5 too. Personally, I think you can't even compare any team after the salary cap to the real dynasties of the past. The salary cap turned football into a formula. We'll never see two juggurnats like dallas and san fran go up against eachother again, but instead we're forced to watch bill belichick vs. tony dungee marketed as a thunderous matchup.

I think the fact that the Patriots are a Dynasty in the salary cap era is more impressive than the teams from the Past :)

More 'impressive', maybe, but put them up against the '90s cowboys, or the '80s 49ers, or the 70's steelers/cowboys....the old dynasties would demolish them head to head.

They wouldn't demolish the Pats.

Theres nothing impressive about beating diluted talent. The cowboys beat a niners team in 92 and 93 that would destroy the pats. They had to beat other great teams to win the superbowl. Now with every team having equal talent its a chess match between coaches. So I guess you can say Belichick and his coaching staff are impressive, but thats about it.
