Yesh. You have real talent. I am a wanna-be woodworker...I make lameass bookcases and such. Did you actually do all the routing for the doors and everything? Nice. :cool:

actually those are done with a tongue in groove setup with a 1/4" wide tongue going 3/8" deep into the outer wood...


the construction method is repeated over and over.

it's built solid as a rock :)

Damn nice chess set, how long have you been wood working, something I have wanted to get into, but I don't know where to start. Seems very reqarding, loved in high school.

Hey, congrats on some very impressive work. :)

But why don't you carve a matching chess set? That would really complete the effect.
