The clue is in the URL. It appears that Rory Reid considers his last name to be detrimental to his winning the office of Governor. So, he's referring to himself as just Rory now. Being Harry Reid's son is evidently not in the plus column in Rory's world.

Outside of Clark County, the name Reid is a four letter world. I don't even think he's made an appearance in my neck of the woods (White Pine County). Not that Sandoval is any better, but unfortunatly, it seems like politics isn't about the best person anymore, but about who's not the worst.
