It seems that about 30% of the posts here are "How do I share my xxx Internet connection." Some of the other Forums have "read me first" posts that answer some of the frequent questions. Could you do something like that here? It might save a lot of traffic (and a lot of time) if someone could create a good post on it, with lots of hyperlinks to other self-help and vendor sites then lock it in as the top post.

They sit in the Archive; it seems that Archive stuff 45 days and older can be linked to, but can not be bumped any more.

Also, due to everyone's "unique" setups...many cannot visualize other people's descriptions the way they word things... That's why it pretty much sticks to the problem to problem format. I don't mind all the posts though because every now and then someone has a really tough problem or something that's out of the ordinary...then we all learn something new when a true Guru comes along. I really enjoyed some posts about the simple architecture of some of the networks setup back in the old days...I've only been playing with computer networking since about 93 so I enjoyed reading about the advancements that have been made since before I was in the game. 🙂
