In OSX it's cmd+c to copy, and cmd+v to paste.

Or right click copy, right click paste. Not unintuitive at all.

Its not a default option.. you need to change settings for that. Again, how does an average user know how to change the settings?

If everyone can RTFM.. 90% of the issues do not even exist.

Haven't had that happen in years, possibly even a decade. So you're doing it wrong, especially if it's happening at your office.

There's a reason real offices usually don't use Macs.

Do you really believe training is the reason? Honestly?

It's because these days Macs are no better than Windows machines, and when supplying an office with workstations why in the world would a company want to pay the Apple Tax and get the exact same machine for double the cost or more?

Yup - my company of 60,000 employees is doing something wrong. I totally agree with you; I was on help desk wait for about an hour this morning.

I am sure it would be much much worse if the entire company used OSX instead of Windows; what with the "X" button for most programs being on the left instead of the right.

That said I think a fleet of Mac Mini's + 20" WS monitors would be cool and fairly cost effective.

So someone in IT made a mistake. Are you telling me that mistakes are 100% impossible on a Mac?

And what kind of huge company would have a screw up like that? And then make each individual user call the help desk on their own? Pretty poorly run company you've got there. How'd they get to 60,000 employees?

I'm sure it must be confusing to some, but what I did when I got my first mac was I used my middle finger, while my middle finger was on the right hand side of the mouse, then pressed until I heard a quiet "click sound" which I also felt through my finger. Perhaps others could follow in my footsteps.

People keep giving them money to invest; greedy people's judgments are always clouded.

I have never run into a .dll file "issue" on my home Win machines. But, I was adding anecdotal stupidity to anecdotal stupidity.

Bottom line; it's not that bad ladies, you can buy whatever personal computer you want - so, stop waving your dick in people's faces.
