Awwww....thanks guys ;D Although I'm sure all of us women know we're appreciated, it's nice to *see* it too sometimes...kinda sucks to wake up one day and wonder if it was a hallucination amid all the flames, after all...

As a side note, every time I hear "hey ladi(es)" -- I think of the song too. It's part of my collection of Ladi Songs :)

Okay, where were all of you educated, thoughtful, enlightened men the last two days when that silly "Women vs Computer" thread was going on!?!?!?! :p

unxpurg8d,

I'm not thoughtful, enlightened or educated, but I can tell you why I didn't read or respond to it; or the Wangelpuke one. I usually ignore stupid threads.

Good God, I didn't see Wangel's thread before it was locked, talk about a scheisskopf. Honestly, there are a lot of us guys who are not like that in the least. Sorry on behalf of all the idiots out there, and thanks for being around ladies, you gals deserve better than what you have gotten in the past few days.

Thank you. Like Ladi said, it's nice to *see* sometimes that we are appreciated. If any guy thinks that he is going to find a perfect woman like the one that Wangel apparently wants, he might as well stay in his little dream world. So...Thank you to all the true men of this board. You guys make it worthwile for us to come back.

Hey, you weren't enlightened OR sensitive. You were bribed. :p

Tell me I don't have to send my firstborn child OR my precious K'nex set and we'll renegotiate your status! :D

I love you guys.

And I'll let you have my Bud Light. ;)

Seriously, it helps to know (and occasionally be forcefully reminded) that small minds are in the minority here.

ChritonsGirl - I am glad to see you didn't get chased away permanently by the idiots in that thread. Welcome back! :)

ratkil: Yeah - ditto! Thats why it was up to us uneducated, unthoughtful, unenlightened men to smack some twerps, eh?
;) ;)

I'm just joking - Hey! I said I'm just joking, d@mmit! :D

Actually, I knew many of the good people wouldn't see that thread and I debated posting a new thread flagging it... maybe I should have - sorry ladies!

Thanks, and just remember, you nice guys are one of the reasons we come here. :)

ChrictonsGirl: Welcome back, I was getting worried for a bit that you were not going to come back.

Bobtist: You sweetie, remind me to smack you for the cootie comment later. ;)

Every female on this board with whom I have had the pleasure to converse with has been very polite, intelligent, and what many guys would refer to as a "cool chick".
Of course this is AnandTech, so how cool can any of us computer geeks be, females included? ;)

Excuse me, but "geek" and "cool" are synonyms.

How about if I just keep the K'nex and send the first born back after a month or two? :p
