Uh oh, it's letting up. Looks like I can't leave work early. I'm getting a kick out of watching all the slovenly government types making a mad rush for their cars (I'm right next to City Hall).

You should come to South Dakota (Rapid City area) for a little bit. You will be amazed by the weather this time of year. This year we went snowless until January, then we had 18 inches of snow. Then the temperature went up to 60 F (t-shirt weather here) for a week, then blizzard. Then it was 60 F for about 2 weeks, then blizzard, melt blizzard. 50F for two days, then blizzard. Its crazy weather here.

This area is funny. We so rarely even get snow, that as soon as a single flake emerges, everybody panics.

Did you mayor ever call in the military because of a little storm? Nah, only Lastman can be such a shmuck 😀

Today was a weird day for weather where I live (Corvallis, OR).

Early Morning: Sun
Morning: Rain
Late Morning: Hail
Midday: Snow
Afternoon: Sun

WTF?!?!

I was at the UW... walking out of MGH, saw the darndest thing... snow coming down in the midst of intense sunlight. I wish I had my camera!

think it got up to the mid 70s and really humid here in austin. right now its about perfect. yesterday it was perfect. 70 and no clouds.

the coldest part of winter was last weekend, down into the 20s. it was odd. few years back we had a freeze in april. that was odd too.

Rossman, when I went to Oregon for a couple month stay, as I approached near Portland I was hit by a hail storm like Ive never seen. I was coming up the main Interstate, and it was like a dumptruck filled with hail was waiting for me on an overpass and SLAM! I was totally blinded and could not see anything.. scariest thing I can remember while driving a fully loaded truck. Seems like Oregon was either uphill or downhill... do they even have flat land? 🙂
