Hey, I'll save some money tonight.

I'll go down to this classy bar downtown after 10PM, and get the delicious $6 Happy Hour lamb burger with fries, and wash it down with a $3 pint of my favorite microbrew.

(granted, you're getting more of both than I am)😉

Eh, I just went to Ruby Tuesdays and paid ~$21 out the door for a burger and Sam Adams. You get more beer + (hopefully) leftovers (fattie) so you're not doing too bad. God damn that triple prime cheddar burger is good though.

If you going to eat like that, might as well eat out as it will likely be cheaper.

You suck ass at math don't you? And I even dislike the OP.

lol at your stupid fucking recycle deposit though 🙂 CA is so retarded. Enjoy your meat!

You hurt my e-feelings.

But yea, they take .05c per bottle, and you get 3.5c back when you recycle. Another "bend me over" moment from Commiefornia.

True, but at the bar, it would have been something like this:

4 hamburgers - >$28
6 hotdogs - >$12
3 tall beers - >$18

>$58 + tax + tips

~$30 is quite nice when compared to ~$70. I'd consider it a win! 🙂

And at my local bars, it would have been $90 + tax + tip.

MI is $.10 per bottle, but we get the full amount when we take them back.

I don't like the OP either 😛

The divide by 4 post is correct. You're looking at $6 bucks buddy.

Looks like you made out like a bandit.

fixed

$2.91 for the food (one burger, one dog)
+
9.49 for the beer

Wow either you shop at some baller places or CA is jacked. My list of that would be like

4x Hamburger patties = $2.59
Pack of hotdogs = $1.99
Hamburger buns = $0.99 or splurge on the $1.99
Hotdog buns = same
6pk Yuengling = $6.59

BTW, .05c deposit with return of 3.5c is a hot deal. 😉 No, I didn't realize you got less than the deposit back. In MI, it is $0.10 deposit, $0.10 when you return them. In NY it is dropped to $0.05 each deposit, $0.05 return, so I haven't bothered returning them. I recycle if I can otherwise toss them. Even with 200 cans I'm looking at only $10? Not worth the time shoving them into the machines. I did enough of that in college.

.05c per bottle isn't bad if you get 3.5c back...that's like a 700% net gain for the consumer.

😛

so are you eating 4 hamburgers and 6 hotdogs, drinking 6 beers tonight? you've got to price it by meal there, bub.

or are you paying $4 per pattie? I'd say that's a crime.

That's how much I would eat for a meal...
