Hey its 2009, why not start off by confessing your secret love for your little smart phone. Dont lie people, when you go to sleep its right there, next to you making you sleep much better as it whispers its sweet tech guru love into your ear. Name something you love about your iphone.

I love the white back of my Iphone 3g. It reassures me, hey I go the extra mile when buying iphones and I want people to know I have a 16gb.

I too have to say that I have grown quite attached to it. It obviously has to do a little with my setup, but it works out well. It really does quite a lot for what I paid for it and most of that functionality, with exceptions of course, is due to the great app system [and great apps]. I've always held out on buying a laptop until the perfect tablet would come out, and jumped on this instead instead of waiting on Lenovo. I'm glad I did as this does most everything I need for now.

-decent Phone
-decent camera (by my standards)
-calendar+email+contact synching + corporate (exchange) data in a seperate directory
-airtunes remote ( awesome functionality with my living room stereo..using right now acutally)
-handheld browser that can load acutal sharepoint pages (/m sucks hard)
-rdp client that actually works well ( rdp used to suck on my old phone with the WinMo lient)
-decent portable games
-great ipod + video
-apps that allow me to access my idisk
-decent free weather apps
-Orb live for leeching off of my friends' cabletv😀 on 3G and wifi
-neat 4 track recorder that I use to record myself playign guitar
-wifi file sharing (airsharing etc)
-Googlemaps (best implementation + mos useful that I've seen)
-yelp (priceless when in a new area)
-itunes music store (buying something on the road is fantastic)

3G, 16GB, black

Obviosuly there are other devices that can do most, if not all of the listed items, but I chose this one and am very very satisfied. The sharepoint and RDP ones are the most critical ones right now and it performs fantastically. I basically have global access to all my IT data and enterprise search if I need to find something.

Yeah I love my iPhone. It's my:

-alarm clock to wake up in the morning
-timer for cooking food and doing laundry
-entertainment device for playing games when I'm stuck in line
-music player
-mini Youtube player
-audiobook player
-music identifier (Shazam & Midomi)
-rolodex
-music remote control
-mapquest a la google maps
-mobile Internet device
-weather checker
-so much more

Itching to upgrade to 3G, but I'm holding out for the 32gb model 🙂

Yup, I'm addicted to my pwned iphone. Of course without jailbreaking it I would not be enjoying it.

Mine is not jailbroken, and I STILL love it.

nitpick:
needs seperate LED so I can see if I have msgs waiting
need to be able to see all email accounts at once

other than that i'm quite happy

I would absolutely love an iPhone. However, I don't want to extend my contract and I certainly don't want to pay for a data plan. I suppose I could go unlocked... but I don't want to empty my bank account to do so.

I only have a Touch 🙁 But it's sort of like iPhones retarded little brother. I did install some apps that make it appear be an iPhone, so I love my fake iPhone 😀

Heh, I tried to go with a TMobile G1, glad I didn't sell my iPhone, because I went back to it.

TMobile, refurb, Gen I, 8GB, Jailbroken & unlocked since day 1 😀

There is just soo much love here its almost sickening. Also the following words are banned from the thread

Tmobile
G1
Zune

Thank you.

I have the following in my household:

iPod Touch 2gen (mine)
iPhone 1gen(fiancee's)
Palm Centro (mine)
Tilt (mine, work)

I have to say that I like the utility of the iphone/ipod touch, but my favorite is still the Centro. The keyboard on the touch/iphone is just too erratic, and the UI isn't all that good for one-handed operation. I love what they've done and it's far ahead in every respect other than the one-handed operation and keyboard. So for now, my Centro is sticking around. The touch does a lot that the centro can't, but they have more in common than not. I'm really glad Apple took Palm's cue and didn't, for the most part, allow background apps. The snappy UI, like PalmOS, absolutely crushes WM6. Actually, WM6 has zero advantages, but that's another discussion.

I'll probably get an iphone eventually as my work phone since we're pretty close to offering it, im told.

I love how unique it makes me feel...oh wait. 😛

I don't really have one, to be honest. They're pretty sweet, though. The above statement/joke still stands, however.

BTW: I have a Zune and LOVE IT. Take it! 😛

The iPhone/touch are still cooler, though. No doubt about that.
