I was wondering If I should keep the onboard lan, and sound? Or go with my Aureal Vortex 2 Superquad and D-LINK Fast Ethernet NIC?
Also my KRYO 2 for some reason every couple of times I turn off my computer wont load into windows, so I have to restart and maybe it comes on. Sometimes it doesnt. Sometimes it does the first time. Whats up with that?

Anyways any help is appreciated.

If it was me, I would probably stick with the onboard NIC for sure, and since I don't know that much about the sound on that card you mentioned, I don't know whether I would go with the onboard sound or the card.

I installed my Dragon + this weekend. The sound is about as good a an OEM Live!... Not sure about the Live! 5.1 though. Sounds great to me. The lan works great too.

I have the Dragon and my onboard LAN has also worked just fine. I never tried the onboard sound, because I went ahead and got an Audigy. I've never heard of your sound card. Isn't Aureal out of business now?

I'd go with the LAN and audio. The LAN works perfectly fine, and the audio is SBLive quality w/o the bugs. 🙂

No point in getting the board and not using the features. 😛 🙂

Yeah, I would keep the sound and LAN.
After I installed this board I turned around
and sold my Live and 3com NIC.

Well the sound is good but not in the same ball park as the Audigy and I need my front bay and their are no bugs with the Audigy, If you are not real picky about the sound it is fine, Better than any onboard sound out their but it is still onboard sound
