FW was hit with a subpoena by Beast Buy for violating the DCMA because someone posted scans to BF advertisements.

edit: not like it mattered. IMO, the deals sucked from what i heard/saw, so, im not losing sleep over it...literally.

uhm, i think it may be related to their current legal situation. they are probably reviewing and looking over their legal options right now. thats all an assumption though, for all i know, they are actually performing maintenance. but my best guess is that it has something to do with the current BB situation.

But if that were the case then they wouldn't need to take the whole thing down. Can't they just take down a thread or two and work on it instead of shutting down the whole thing?

The reason I'm so uptight about it is because I'm in the midst of the Dell Planar 17" LCD deal and we were all supposed to call them today and find out things related to our orders but here at AT there's nothing going on.

Frankly, I doubt they would give a damn if no one from AT every came into a BB again. With all the hot deals they probably lose more money than they gain.

Frankly, I doubt they would give a damn if no one from AT every came into a BB again. With all the hot deals they probably lose more money than they gain.

Don't be mislead by their "we're losing money" shtick. The markup on these items far exceeds anything they may lose on our "hot deals" unless it was something like that $5 wireless keyboard and mouse combo from last year. At best they come close to breaking even but they are still always ahead of us in the game.
