Ok, everyone please chill out....I have dealt w/ over a dozen situations like this .....please don't try to humour him up ok. Leave it alone, and wait for him to respond. I know it's difficult to do, but trust me on this. It looks as though he is talking to someone about it.

If Elita is talking to him , I am sure he is in good hands for the moment. If not, then by all means try and contact him....no pressure or humour though(bad idea). I unfortunately do not have AIM.
