Anyway, imo you're talking about spending way too much. Past a certain point, $2,000 or so, you start to see heavily diminishing returns per dollar spent. I'd keep it simple & hold onto the rest.

Guys, give him a good welcome at least. Even when I joined XtremeSystems like a week ago with a very good technical response to someone, I got a good welcome. I talked as if I was a part of them already, but still.
Just welcome the guy ok? At least give him some help. FX-57 is not coming out June is it? I'm not sure. I thought it got delayed. Then again "Q3" means a span of 3 months.

You may wish to take the time to learn some forum etiquite which would include not cross posting and using proper grammer. Posting like a third grader (see your 1st thread) is a good way to get ignored and flamed.
You mentioned in your 1st thread that your dad wants you to "learn all about computers". Wouldn't a gaming computer be counter productive to that?
You could spend less than that, even. If you're really itching to spend more though, a nice big LCD is a good way to do itOriginally posted by: jdogess

AT is full of people who want the most out of their money. If they can spend half as much on one system to get 3/4 the performance of another, they will. Keep that in mind when posting. And you should maybe consider price to performance ratio sometime.

LoL. XtremeSystems is the place where people upgrade their Winchesters to Venices, and order San Diegos the day they hit Monarch for a good $60 more than the price a week later. I see the guys there upgrading Newcastles to Winchesters to Venices. Man. Crazy. Anyways, I say you should go with like a $2000 tops computer. $1500 should do even. You could get 2 of those in a period of like 5 years and stay on top of performance or you could spend $3000 one time and find your self in a dead end within 2 years.
