My bro currently works for Nvidia for the workterm of his college term
His months are almost done but Nvidia offered him a Job that pays him $55,000 a year.(Must be decided before 12PT August 30th)
He also was presented with offers from Microsoft, Rim, Qualcomm, Sisco and IBM.

My uncle works for IBM(for the past 15 years) and he says IBM isn't at the top of the game now so my bro shouldn't choose that.
He had worked for Rim in the past and he didn't really like it tho he did get a free Rim thingy 😛
Qualcomm is cool for cellphones and stuff but my bro don't like them.
Microsoft, last time I heard, there team split apart but Windows XP ain't bad 😛
Sisco, I don't know about that

His other choice is to go back to College for 4 years after Grad and get his medical degree and become a family doctor. 😛

what do you guys think? Help me out plz.


I just found out that the only reason why Nvidia wants my bro is because he figured out the problems on the GF3's and after he did, they went on market and they made 25% more money or something? So that is hte only reason why they are offering my Bro soo high. 😱

I'd stay with nVidia. He's already working their, and I think that with the nForce, nVidia is gonna fly real soon.

Being a family practioneer (sp?) is going to really fly for him in the long run. Getting a higher education degree should always be favored over anybody's current status (unless you are Bill Gates or somebody to taht extent)

Tell your brother to go back to school and get a better job in the future... I personally think that the comp business is really, really risky... where as a doctor's job is - at times stressful - more normative 🙂

That's just my opinion though - where would he go to school for his doctorate?

My bro currently attends school at University of Waterloo, one of the best engineering/computing schools in Ontario or Canada? 😛

I'm not sure, most likely he'll find a diff schoool to get the extra 4 years,

But if he goes back to Nvidia, I just can't imagine how many nice Nvidia stuff I would get 😛 Tho i already got a Nvidia Suitcase, Mousepads, motherboards(with nvidia videochipset or something), Nvidia Balls(the bouncy plastic things), millions of Nvidia chips(good for keychains 😛),

I'm just waiting for the Nvidia GeForce 3 cards to come in 🙂

I want him to stay with Nvidia 😛 but i think he wants to be a doctor ;(

I can never thank him less for the AMD 1.33mhz /w Asus A7A266 and the Intel P4 1.8ghz /w Asus P4t he sent home not too long ago 🙂
gotta love the supplies in the basement, my bro says, they have brand new p4's that are not even being used and amds that are brand new and not being used, they had also switched to a larger building, this company was dumping brand new 600mhz and higher computers that have never been used. I told my bro to pick up a few, he's like, thers tooo many 😛
