Ever watch divx/DVD? It requires a higher volume setting in order to hear anything. When something else kicks on, it's LOUD. With me so far?

Where did I say I'm not making any noise? 😕

In order to have reasonable listening volume for many DivX/DVDs, you need to crank the volume up a bit. Let's say volume is set to 5 in order to get a noise of 3. Now..something else automatically plays that's at a noise level of 5, with the same volume setting.

If you can't understand that, I'm afraid I can't help you.
