I think I'll go DE next.

yup, that's right... a girl's razor blade.

i used my gf's razor blade in the shower the other day (i was out of new blades) and my face was ridiculously smooth... smoother than i've ever felt it with any guys razor i've used.

and you can kiss it if you ask for my man card.

Women's razors are actually at different angles. Contrary to manly opinion, they do give a superior shave.

This.

I started DE shaving last december and had bought a sample pack of blades and I still have like 30+ blades left...

On top of that I don't get razor bumps anymore and on top of that the smoothness isn't that much worse... I kind of like the feel of the slight stubble anyway...

You guys do know that the reason why they've gone to 3, 4 and now 5 blades isn't for a closer shave, right? Amazingly enough, men got close shaves for years with 2 blade razors! Stop and think about it.....the more blades, the closer together they are, and the EASIER THEY CLOG UP, so you have to throw out your razor more often!!

I've tried the 4 blade razors, and wouldn't waste my money with them, or the 5 blade either. Unfortunately, the only 2 blade razors I've found left on the market felt like they were thrown out back in the 80's, dug up out of the landfill, and re-packaged for new sale, without benefit of sharpening. Now I just buy the cheapest 3-blade razor I can find, and use it until it's removing as much skin as it is stubble.

They're probably a real bear to get the area under the nose, though. I guess that is another reason to go for a 'stache (the first being that nosehairs will theoretically blend in and thus you save yourself the trouble of trimming those).

I do this too, but usually have to do a bit of cleanup after I get out. It's so much more comfortable to shave in the shower IMO.

It's also better for your skin due to higher humidity.

I gave up manual razors for electric a long time ago. Too much hassle, takes 10x as long and is not comfortable. There's being manly, and there's being smart. Why inflict pain on myself if I don't have to? Only downside is I find electrics don't do as smooth of a job, but oh well, I look young, a bit of roughness may make people think I'm 12, instead of 8. :p

I don't know why waxing facial hair is not a standard thing to do. We would not have to go through the trouble of shaving every day. Just wax it and be done. :p

Maybe it has something to do with he face being really sensitive compared to the legs and back :p

Wax you face??? Do you know how much that would hurt? Facial hair is infinitely thicker than it is in other places and the face is much more sensitive. You go ahead and wax your face and let us know how it goes.

You didn't pick up one of the three sitting near the toilet did you? That wasn't what they are for! :Q
