I have rambus 800 and I thought thats what P4s used, however I see systems using PC2100 and I would like to know whats up. If it is to list here please tell me where I can go to find out the answer. Thanks

PC2100 is just a different memory type. Some P4 mother boards use Rambus, others use DDR of which PC2100 is part of.

Well, there are P4 boards that use rambus and ones that use DDR, the difference (other than the fact that they are COMPLETELY different technologies) is that rambus has the available memory bandwidth needed for the P4 and the DDR was simply a solution (an effective solution, but not as effective as Rambus) added so that they can appease a lot of people who vehemently hate Rambus and all that it embodies.
