Even Fox News thinks you're crazy.
Seriously. Fox News. These lines of argument are considered so insipid, so stupid, and so creepy, that even Fox is calling people out on them. The least professional, most ultra right wing, most hackish news network in America has had enough. I hope that puts things in perspective.
Criticize Obama all you want, in many ways he deserves it and open criticism is something our country needs. If you're going to do it though, please criticize him in a sane way.
Does this mean Fox News is now considered a legit source around here??
Seems that every time someone posts something from Fox they get attacked. Just wondering if we have changed our standards, or is Fox only usable when it agrees with the left wing POV??
Here I go throwing bicyles to fish again, but the logic is:
No, Fox is NOT a 'legit news source' because of this. It remains a right-wing propaganda outlet.
But you know this, because you constantly post things of the mirror format, whenever you can get some quote from a 'left-wing source' that supports your point, you use it saying 'even THIS LIBERAL' says it, without claiming you see them as any more correct or legitimate because of that one point. As with your tired 'even Al Gore was in favor of extraordinary rendition' anecdote.
There's a concept I've explained before, called 'statement against interest'. What it means is, the person saying they DID the crime is more credible than the person saying they did not. Saying they HAD an affair is more credible than saying they did not. This is the source of the 'only Nixon could go to China' saying, he was views as 'so anti-communist' that he was immune to the charges of 'soft on communism' that would be made if a Democrat had done the same thing.
So, 'Fox News says right-wing position is correct' is not news, while 'Fox News says left-wing position is correct' gets the 'even Fox says' comment.
Just as the chairman of the Democratic Party saying Republicans were right about something could be cited as 'even he says...'
It's sad how you feign ignorance and surprise by this and disengenuously question it while pretending you don't do the same thing.
