I dont dislike CA, I dislike Californians who have excess of smug.

That said "pink dot" sounds cool, they have lazy people grocery delivery everywhere, but not "middle of the night" ... thats one thing that sucks in suburbia. Theres very little places open overnight, gas stations, mcdonalds, and a few bars that close at like 4. Even white castles and taco bells are closing earlier...

A ticking time bomb to be precise. Sad part is that its a major economical hub and if it goes down, so will be country. Maybe the looming water crisis will persuade some of these companies to move to safer locations.

I think it's the other way around. We're so accustomed to it it's not a huge deal. When I meet people from other countries or states, they get all excited when I tell them I'm from LA and who do I see.

Appropriate level of smug is fine 🙂 There is a limit where it becomes excess, and its super annoying.

I like condescending assholes to some extent, because I am one. But some people go to far.
