Hey DPADers, are all our outputs dropping?

I was going to do the stats tonight, but again their were only 3 people turning in numbers , is it me or has everyone's output dropped??,very strange .

Or have we all joined in the F@H race?,that's why mine's dropped btw.

Btw sorry to those who are turning in results atm, but it does seem a bit pointless to do stats just for 3 people . Just for a quick rough & ready stats fix though have this .

I have some results I could send in, but a few months ago I started using the newer version that takes longer to build up to over 100KB and so don't need to send in as often.

I think I'm gonna go back and start up another computer on DPAD - its where I started so I think its time to go back

since I added that E6300 to SoB I think adding my E8600 in my sig to DPAD is only fitting - now that I'm folding on this make me thing mebbe I shoulda kept that quad ...

Roger that, a late switcher then?, IIRC it was out early in the year .

Btw the drop in output I've noticed is more in recent weeks rather than months.

I turned it back to 4ghz for the time being - think my board didn't like me running CAS4 at DDR2-1120

that was a little messed up - I meant - shoulda read "now that i'm folding on this rig makes me think mebbe I shoulda kept that quad"

my dually at 4.25ghz is way faster then the quad at 3.825ghz - granted I'm running at either 500mhz fsb or 560fsb

Err, even a dually at 4.25GHz won't be faster than a quad @3.82GHz, at least not on DC where all 4 cores can be used .

I was debating the other day whether to drop the multiplier on my Q6600 & raise the FSB, might give quite a boost.......

now my definition of "faster" there is actual system feel and general speed - I'm fully aware that my little dually won't run 4 instances and all that jazz but there is almost a 100mhz fsb difference on my dually vs the quad and most of the time in cpu benchies my dually out performs a slightly higher clocked quad - in many cases the 2.4ghz quads are neck and neck with my system due to the fsb boost

IMO - lower multi and higher fsb is the only way to go under any overclock

Ah I see, yea many benchmarks wouldn't use 4 cores so hence a faster clocked duallie will win, no contest in DC though of course.
I will have to explore higher FSBs on my rig after the F@H race is over .

It seemed to be an across the board drop that I noticed, we'll see how it goes over the next few weeks etc.
