I have a ford escort 01 and I was wondering what I could do to it that ould be helpful. I just changed the air filter to a KN and it is better.

I was wondering if i should change my plugs to plats or something ...

Does anyone know?

You should not change your stock plugs because you have no need for more spark. Unless you go forced induction or swap a motor there isn't much you can do with an escort. Same mods as all cars apply, but your gains are going to be less. If you want to modify a car, buy an older car and use the escort as a daily driver. You will not make the escort "fast" without serious amounts of cash and time.
