I detect no difference between 60 hz and 85 hz. Is there some other difference/advantage aside from flicker prevention?

Do you have bad eyes? Just about everyone can tell the difference between 60hz and 85hz. 60hz is really bad for your eyes. I know using my 15" at 60hz for a few years has made my eyes worse, noticeably.

1.) Gateway
2.) VX900
3.) 1024x768 - Seems to be easiest on my eyes
4.) 32bit - Ooh boy its purty
5.) I have it set to "optimal" should I change it or not?
6.) Well according to my purtyyyyy little Radeon specs, this bitch of a monitor maxes at 1600x1200 with a 160 Hz Refresh. Not sure if thats true, but if it does, kickass! Plus, I have idiots in my house, so its nice to have a "degauss" button and for the most part changing my screen around in game is really ez. I don't use anything above 1600x1200 for gaming anyway. I intend to keep this puppy until it dies. (Or when they make decent, cheap, LCD screens that go 1600x1200)
