In the product description it says 2.1 megapixel.

It is actually a 3.2 megapixel camera.

It is the HP 433 model.

If you zoom in on the photo you can see the 3 megapixel on the packaging, there is also a previous review from someone that states this. Also when you google the model, the HP 433 comes up.

It has a movie mode that is unlimted with sound up until the SDCard's capacity.

I just ordered one to slightly upgrade from my old 2 mp camera. I think I'll have fun with the movie mode 🙂

Pretty good for under 100$

sould be nice to see some pictures taken with this camera and maybe a vid clip.. unfortunately the camera wasn't reviewed at Steve's site.

Last HP camera I had was garbage, many of their models follow suit. Not that I have tried this one, but you usually tend to get what you pay for with a digicam .

I wouldn't look forward to video with an HP......my girlfriend has a 3.2 megapixel HP (different model) and it can only take 1 minute of video, and its a weird codec, PicVideo or something like that. Image quality is ok, shutter lag is terrible, battery life is poor....but at that price, not too bad.

That is weird. HP's site says this one is quicktime. It is also unlimted (in the sense of how much memory your card has).

I'll do a good review when it gets here (hopefully friday with newegg)

I am shopping for a camera, and this might win some its cheap awards, but no optical zoom and eats batteries is enough to make me walk away. Plenty of much better cameras under $150 right now.

I bought my girlfriend this camera for christmas a year and a half ago for $99 ar, and it's been the crapiest digital camera I've seen. The pictures normally come out terrible and it doesn't have optical zoom. It is the 3.2 megapixel camera too. Sorry, not trying to thread crap, I just wish I would have known how crappy that digital camera was before I wasted my $100!
