There is another scene where the T-1000 is in his car asking 2 girls with Subway cups in their hands if they've seen John Connor.

My wife insists that's her. It's about 25 minutes in on the theatrical version.

Nikki Cox is the little girl who tells the T-1000 that John Connor went to the Galleria. It was before she, uh, "blossomed."

According to IMDB, the US release date is July 2. July 4, being a Friday, would make more sense. Either way - July 2003.

Actually, no it dosen't make more sense. A few movies (especially expected blockbusters) are often released on Wednesday, usually billed as a 'sneak preview'. I remember when Jurassic Park was released. The ads on TV said 'starts Friday', but the theaters had sneak previews the Wednesday before. So, I was able to see Jurassic Park with about 10 people in the theater, rather than the hundreds that showed up Friday.

Ahh, I see I see. That looks similar to her and I guess the years would be about right.
