Also, I do find it interesting to translate some of the Japanese and compare them to the subtitles as a lot of the words used are fairly common in animes and such, so they're easily understood. I've found some of the translations to be a little too generic. I also noticed how they ignored some of the Japanese in the last episode, mainly when Ando was looking up the sword shop in the phone book.

But the show is written in English, so I think it's pretty safe to assume that the English subtitles are an accurate reflection of the writers' intent. The Japanese that they are speaking is a translation from English, not the other way around.

That's a hippy excuse for someone who doesn't understand Japanese and prefers to live in ignorance. Understanding it and realizing that half of it is a poor translation is an annoyance. It's like watching someone spew out incorrect specs for a processor.. it makes the geek blood boil! It's also not like it'd greatly change anything if they used better translations... it'd make it more normal.

Are you being serious? Do you not agree that the show is written in English? What makes you think the Japanese translation is going to give more accurate information than the English? For all we know, the Japanese dialogue is just a quick translation from English done by some unpaid intern. Translating that back into English is just adding unnecessary noise (except when we don't have subtitles, obviously).

the scripts are written in english, and the actor, masi oka, translates his own lines into japanese.. he was born in tokyo, and moved here when he was 6... according to my japanese friend he speaks near perfect japanese, and i've seen him on talk shows speaking perfect english.. ando apparently does not speak very good japanese (according to said friend)

What's his Dad's power?
Lindermann should have been quielty playing Beethoven's 9th in his office 🙂

I still maintian that Hiro has never changed time. The events that happened in the future sequence are still happening. Future Hiro had no effect on the timeline when he came back and talked to Peter.

I guess we'll see..

Hiro already changed time. Save the cheerleader... In future Hiro's time, Sylar killed the cheerleader.

Hiro's Dad's power is to teach someone to become a Samurai in 30 minutes or less. Apparently. 😉

I was listening to the radio last week on my way to school. The drew and mike show, they were interviewing the guy that plays parkman. Parkman was saying the last 2-4mins of tonight episode will be the 1st few mins of next season premiere.

Hiro had talked about having taken Bushido already.

According to IMDB, Ando is Korean so I can see why he can't speak very good japanese.

Well, that's up to interpretation. Sylar killed a cheerleader and Hiro didn't say, "Save Claire, Save the World." Perhaps future Hiro only heard about a healing cheerleader but didn't exactly who she was.

And the producers of the show already confirmed sylar lives through the season, but he's not supposed to be as major of a villain next season.
Then I wonder what stops him from him from just expanding his 'Hero collection.' A wee bit of amnesia or someone douses him with an empathy spell?

Any guesses on who Molly is afraid of?

Predictions on who survives the Season Finale? And who dies?

how did hiro become sword master in one night of training with his dad?

did he stop time and trained with his dad in limbo? was that how he's able to learn so much in one night?
