In the face-off between Fox's "24" and NBC's "Heroes" the winner was CBS' "Two and a Half Men." The sitcom stars Charlie Sheen, Jon Cryer and Angus T. Jones (pictured).

The comedy attracted 16.1 million viewers Monday. "Heroes" averaged 14.8 million for the hour while "24" gripped 14.4 million. In terms of 18-to-49 viewers -- the count that advertisers care about -- "Heroes" was out out in front, followed by "24," then "Two and a Half Men."

It's always funny these debates...these are all chicks that I wouldn't throw out of bed, but at the same time not really hard to find locally. None of the fanboy females really out there would qualify as supermodel/supersex women IMHO...and rightfully so as most do not want those everyday.

If I was single and had an opportunity to date the pics.bbzzdd favorite Jessica Alba I would, but there is a chick in my office that looks nearly identical and has a great personality (got married last year)...

I don't know what the J. Alba deal is though, during the dark angel series (we were all 20-somethings); we were out all out (happy hour with several friends / ex and current co-workers) and talking about who would you cheat with. There was the typical VS chicks, Baywatch, etc...Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt, etc... then someone brought up "WTF is up with all these dudes in love with Jessica Alba chick seems stupid to me with that Hawkins whatever". Now we were all pretty hammered by this point in the conversation, but this guy got into "if he could only be where she is out casually and have the chance to start a conversation with her...".

There was not much to defend about this guy...he had no game, he had no personality. Some of the crowd (chicks hehe) defended the guy in the wheelchair in the series though a couple of them were pretty p!ssed about the Hawkins comment. The J. Alba guy wasn't even involved in our conversations the whole night choosing to just stare at music videos.

Then a couple of the bishy chicks laid into him 'graphically' about what's she's done with a guy and how it would never be him. He was defending her left and right claiming she was still a virgin and those were all rumors...that she is just waiting for the right guy and she doesn't care about how hot/cool/popular/rich/etc etc etc someone is.

It was pretty mean and sad, he was our pinata that night. One chick even broke out the 'what are you going to cry now?' at one point. The guy left. We were all asking who invited him, but no one stepped up.

It really doesn't matter to me who got the most viewers. My friends and I talk about Heroes. End of discussion. :p

Neilson ratings. I was part of this once. They install some devices that monitor you A/V gear and send to them the signal of what you are watching (in the past you just filled out a survey which was highly inaccurate)...

They can be messed up by people who leave channels on all the time.

No. It's the broken and battered English in the stream of consciousness format that does me in.

Shrug, I got mine from here

http://www.zap2it.com/tv/ratings/zap-ra...63.story?coll=zap-tv-ratings-headlines

In a tight race at 9 p.m., CBS led in households (9.3/13) with "Two and a Half Men," 10.1/14, and "Old Christine," 8.4/12. FOX's "24" was second at 8.6/12, followed by NBC's "Heroes" at 8.5/12. NBC however, had the most viewers (and also the night's top adults 18-49 rating), with CBS second and FOX third. "Supernanny" delivered a 6.0/9 for ABC. The CW went with "Girlfriends" and "The Game."

In any case, I can't b elieve ppl watch 2 1/2 men. What a crappy show.

Ok, so did she just control her power without going mr. hyde?

Perhaps, or faked it up until the point where she broke the nightstick.

All the heros are getting better with their powers.

The problem many are not realizing is this show has a past, present, future timeline going on at once. This past episode stepped back into the past (with the Petrallis, Issac, Hiro), the future/present with Claire/Eraser (does he have a name yet) and Nikki/Micah/DL and Sylar, as well as Mohinder and Mr. Bennett negotiating.

Also there seems to be a way Mr. Linderman knew of future events in the past. Hiro eventually gets his sword though, like he discovered there is nothing you can do to change the future....or is there?

I thought it was pretty clear that the entire episode took place at the same time: 2 weeks after the mid-season finale. I think the 2 weeks that have gone by will be explained or shown in later episodes.

BTW, remember the newscast Claire was watching. The reporter said "It is now two weeks after a cheerleader got killed in school and finally school has begun again." That pretty much says Claire's timeline is also two weeks after the mid-season finale.

I'm glad that nbc has it available for watching on their website(and was pleasantly surprised that it played as smoothly as it did on a p3 700mhz laptop through a wireless cardbus adapter), as I missed its original broadcast. I found the show to be a good one and can't wait 'til next week. :)

Don't see too much broken english in my posts...they are stream of consciousness though and abbreviated. Sorry if I don't sit down to pen at fable like some here.

Try HOP.com though...may work for you.
