After never seeing this thread and getting through 9 pages and seeing no one mention this... I decided I'd just chime in .

Hiro's use of a sword (or inclusion) was based on his favorite character (Future) Trunks from Dragonball Z. Future Trunks is seen coming from the future after the Namek (Furiza) Saga to warn Goku about the Android invasion. Replace future Trunks with Hiro, Namek saga with nothing (no real sagas in Heroes ), Goku with Peter and Android invasion with Claire's death and you got the same thing.

Best line in the show so far "Guraito Sucotto" or to change from the phonetic Japanese way of pronouncing English words, "Great Scott"... a nice pun off Doc Brown after going back to the future (albeit by accident).

One more thing as I ran into someone that didn't want to start watching since they missed all the previous episodes....ALL of them are available from the main NBC.COM Heroes site to watch...no need to hunt down torrents or youtube.

These are also great to rewatch parts that either didn't make sense or you missed something that another brought up in the thread.

That may be your opinion...it's not what the writer has intended though. The site mentions HIRO'S as a pun for Heros, as well as he is featured with a BLOG.

The other's are supporting, but he is the main.

I like my Toshiba CX32G60 still...born on date 1997, not flat.

When I move, I am shooting for a WEGA 40" CRT and projector.

However; panel displays are catching up. I learned to recognized and tune out so many video problems that it makes it hard to enjoy an otherwise mostly nice picture the picture frame TV's give.

I read those today. Hana/Wireless is a dumb power. Put her in 24, then she's useful, but in Heroes, not so much. Unless the actress is really hot.... But it hasn't helped with the Nicki/Jessica character.
