I do agree. I was expecting more, but if I forget about what it was "supposed" to be, it was a good episode.

Mohinder (I know I spelled it wrong) is on the borderline since his character is not funny and is not developing fast enough to where he is actually doing anything important.

I SOOOOOOO agree with you on this. When I see her pop up on the screen, or her PITA bastard child, I go take a steaming pile.

I was into it, then not, but now Im back into the show, so correct me if Im missing something, but does anyone remember when some crazy dude that looked like Hiro from the future went on the trade when time was frozen or something? Are we assuming that it is a kick ass Hiro from the future?

I just saw the interview on GMA with Hiro, and he said that the producers said that there is a special reason why Hiro's name is like "hero".

It's Sylar, not Syler.

Anyways, I was disappointed that Sylar was so weak against Eden, I guess there must be another villian(s) that is more powerful. Perhaps what Isaac painted when he was drugged? It looked like some demon on fire.

Dude just fell from a pretty high place...they showed him a bit limpy as he walked off.

Also remember Sylar hasn't reacted yet, and it's two vs one.

to other posts:

****
The painting of Peter was definitely accurate at the time...it's why future telling is sort of impossible...you only gain the instant you are looking at. Without absorbing Claire's power, he'd have died.

****

I don't see how people think Nathan is Sylar.

****

Hiro = Hero, it's even stated like that on NBC's main site. He is the main character.

****

I don't understand the hate on Jessica/Nikki or Micah...all I can think about is a chick turning a guy down or a chick a guy finally got that ended up with a kid they think is a deal-breaker.

It's interesting now that the 'good side' is the reflection to me.

****

Series like LOST and others are supposed to leave you hanging, these are cliff-hanger shows; too many people want instant gratification though. This is the first series that I am watching each week without missing.

B/C her storyline SUCKS

I like her storyline...not my favorite, if some emo chick was in her place though it'd get higher ratings I think.

Not that it sucks ... it's that they are spending way to muh time on it and it seems like it's going no where.

Basically it...sucks.

I'm giving them one more week. Last week they told me "your questions will be answered", and that was a lie. They said the same thing last night, so we'll see. If they don't deliver next week... and I mean DELIVER, then I'm done. I won't even DVR this garbage any more. It's not worth the time. I have every episode on DVR right now, and if I were to go trim the fat from this steak, there'd be about two hours of quality material.
You're absolutely right. There was a promo a few weeks ago saying that "in the next few weeks, you'll know what side this guy (cue picture of HRG) is on" and we still don't know. It appears he's on the side of good, but it could just be a bad guy trying to protect his daughter to further his own goals.

ABC did the same "all your questions will be answered" BS promos for LOST which is one of the reasons I quit watching. The episode would answer one question poorly, then bring up a bunch more.

Maybe I just don't have the attention span for these serial type shows. I like CSI and House, where there's some resolution in the episode and there's usually a side plot spanning several episodes that eventually gets resolved.

No offense, but you guys are acting like you just realized TV previews and promos over hype.

I actually love shows that have a long arcing story line. The story and characters tend to be way more in depth and interesting.

Don't you get it, that Edan chick is forming a clique of super villains, villains that will destroy the world!!!

That's why she's helping the horn rimmed glasses guy - to find the specials with evil tendencies.

Not sure how he fell though, since it seems like he can float in the air (before he grabbed Peter).

Ok, I think you have gotten your message across. I think this is my 10th time reading this from your post. But I don't think he is the main character, but he is certainly hero-like, much like Peter Petrelli, very willing to help others. Like Kring said, Hiro is on a hero's quest.

I don't understand the hate on Jessica/Nikki or Micah...

Least interesting story out of all characters. Hell, I find Mohinder's story much more interesting than Nikki/Jessica crap and he doesn't even have any special power (yet?).

I wonder if this will turn into an X-men type of show where you have some heroe's on one side fighting for good and others fighting for evil. The evil side wants to destroy Earth to ride it of inferior humans and they know to do so, they first need to get rid of the heroes that fight for good.

Of course we know that... but Heroes (and Lost, apparently; though I've never watched it) takes it to a whole new level.

I forget the guy's name but if one can walk through walls/objects (including people) then how could that person be killed? I would assume that when he hears the gunshot he can just let the bullet pass through?

You're not going to hear that gun shot until after you've been hit which is why she wanted to be so far away from him.

Exactly. The bullet is going to travel a lost faster than the sound. Which is why it was obviously important that Micah told his dad about Nikki/Jessica. It's my guess that DL became aware of the problem once Micah said something. I don't think he's dead.

It also appeared to me that the horn-rimmed glasses guy seemed unafected by Edan's mind control powers. When she was trying to tell him that he was not going to do anything more to Isaac, he seemed to be able to just shrug her off.

Great show though.

Nothing ever happens on this show.. everything they 'reveal' in the episodes is so bleedingly obvious and already understood by at least a majority of the people I talk to about the show.

This show is beginning to feel like the last season of the sopranos, not a goddamn thing happens ever.

That and as others have said, the promos are sh!t that never happens and/or never gets resolved.

Hooked!

Just watched Heroes for the first time today at work (thank goodness for tv.peekvid.com) since it's been so slow and am on episode 8. I've watched the first 7 back to back.

Think I'll ReplayTV it from now on.

Edit: Just finished episode 8. How many are there? Guess I'll hit up nbc.com and find out.

Man do I have a bunch of questions!

Edit: Oh, and I quit watching Lost at the end of last season, this better not turn into a rehash every other episode.
