i'm pretty sure he said scarf not scar. the first time hiro saw peter was in isaac's painting when he had that red scarf on.

Anyone else think that the Hiro character feels like he's from a different, better written show? I love whenever they cut to him and am sometimes disinterested when they cut to say the flying dude or the schizo girl. Good show, episode 4 wasn't as good as 3 though.
Hiro should have his own movie, he's a great and charming character. Did you know the actor playing him works for ILM? He did some work on Starwars and PoTC.

i do like this show alot too. its not some cheesy superhero show - kinda nuts when the cheerleader crashed that dude's car into the wall. plus the dude who's superhero powers happen only when he's high on heroin.

No, Horn-rimmed glasses man/Mr. Bennet seems to be seeking out the Heroes for study so he would not have left Clair for dead. It seems I was wrong about Brody Mitchum, quarterback of the football team, since he turned out to be a serial rapist! I think he took Clair to the river bed and dumped her body to cover his tracks. Clair told her friend Zack that Brody killed her before her could rape he, so thats good I guess. I think Mr. Bennet was busy with LA cop Matt Parkman at the time anyway.
I may be wrong about Chandra Suresh still being alive since Mohinder claimed his late father body. I guess actor Erick Avari will only appear in flashbacks then.
Yea, Hiro is my favourite too. The time freeze in the casino was great! I wonder if actor Masayori "Masi" Oka had a hand in it seeing as he is also an accomplished digital effects artist.
I was really dissapointed how they resolved Niki. I was hoping she would split in two or something, but she just has a split personality with at tattoo. Lame. Apparently her son Micah Sanders knows she is a cam-girl and is ok with that.
Still no sign of D.L. Hawkins Micah's dad and Niki's ex. Mr. Bennet's assistant is a different bald black guy, wearing the RNA molecule symbol on a gold neckless. I think the Symbol that keeps showing up represents the mutants like the Omega symbol on X-Men but is neither good nor bad.
Lack luster stories for the rest of the Heroes, although watching Isaac Mendez paint was cool.
Any thoughts on the impending bomb. Here's one; since Horn-rimmed glasses man/Mr. Bennet is seeking out the Heroes, his organization sets off the bomb in order to "out" the remaining Heroes. Sort of like Samuel L. Jackson's character Elijah Price causing train wrecks in the movie Unbrakable.

anyway, that strange symbol, if you'll also notice, is on the side of the cheerleaders algebra textbook as she pulls it out of her locker, just something else i noticed. wonder what it means, like if it'll eventually have meaning to the story or if the symbol is just something extra the creators of the show threw in.
I watched the "marathon" last night. That's the 1st i've seen the show. Looks pretty good.

As for the symbol, I'm wondering if it's like Superman and Seinfeld... you know, something that is in every scene. One appearance that hasn't been mentioned yet is in the swimming pool outside of the house where Parkman finds the missing girl.

I've noticed that a lot of what he paints is bad stuff. IE: Explosion of NYC, the bus bombing, Claire getting chased by the shadow, even his ex(?)-girlfriend kissing Peter.
Well.. except for the comic book. That's the only thing that isn't a negative precognition, that I've noticed.
I predict that in the end the nuke will launch and then they might have Peter (he's the mimic right?) get surrounded by all the surrounding 'Heroes'. He'll a absorb Hiro's power to stop time, his brothers power to fly, and the girls power of healing to blow up the bomb and survive.
Ehhh may be a bit far-fetched, but I bet you the girl's power is used at the end to survive something no one else could.
