Yes, he can make the molecules in his body (and presumably his clothes for TVs sake) out of phase with normal matter so that he may pass right through it. Of course that whole "Why don't you fall through the floor?" paradox never gets addressed in Sci-fi.

Interesting, I just watched the clips on the NBC Heroes site looking for DL when I noticed that the Advancing Evolution book the Petrelli brothers were looking at had a different picture of Dr. Chandra Suresh on the back cover!

I don?t know how to screen cap a flash player but it is in the two-minute replay of episode 3 One Giant Leap time index 1:18

Here is a screen cap of the copy that was in his New York apartment cap

Since Erick Avari is a sci-fi standard, I'll bet this character is not dead and may be reunited with his son by episode seven.

Man, this show owns. Halfway through the 2nd episode now, but I have to ask...who's the short-haired brunette chattin' it up with the indian guy? She's so cute 😀

Her characters name is Eden MacKenzie played by Nora Zehetner.

Yummy! I  brunettes 😀

I think she's sorta ugly.

I think you're sorta crazy.

Uber cuteness
She reminds me of Rachel Bilson, except she's less Valley Girl and more Urban Sophisticate.

Lets guess whats the stripper power is.

I'm guessing her reflection is an alter ego.
Like her reflection does damage to people.
Seriously folks, look up "doppelganger" in Wiki. This phenomenon's been written about since the Middle Ages.

She used to be in a Noxzema (or some other face cleanser) commercial and I used to think that was Rachel Bilson. They look a lot alike but bilson is way hotter.

Yeah, they wouldn't use a well known actor like Avari if he didn't at least have some scenes. I also think he's alive.

That show is sooooooooooooo slow, nothing ever happens IMO.

agreed
i was hoping the first two episodes would be used to character development, and the pace would eventually pick up
the third episode is nowhere near as fast paced as i'd like it to be

i think i'll give it one more episode before my ADD kicks in

Wow, you guys are REALLY in the minority. For those of us with attention spans longer than a fly, it's great pacing.

they need to start merging the character stories together and soon
that way they can develop 3-4 stories in one episode instead of the 7 they are trying to do now. It makes for very little development in each individual story

and some of the parts are just obvious:
the artist seeing his girlfriend kissing the guy in his painting. I get it, can we move on now to the next character? Time's a wasting
yes, the girl will heal when the stick gets pulled out. Does a stick in the neck warrant an open chest autopsy? I would have opted for another nuclear explosion ending 😉[/thread]

This looks to be happening in next week's episode. Hiro Protagonist and his friend are hitting Las Vegas. It also looks like Mohinder is going to run into the ex-nurse.

I'm still wondering about Claire's (the cheerleader) powers though. Ok, she can't be killed but she's still weak and can be beaten up, tied up, done whatever to pretty easily.

Interesting beginning. Due to it being on Mondays I will probably not remember to watch it regularly. I have a hard time remembering new shows, especially on Mondays for some reason. I missed nearly half the season of Surface when it was on Mondays, and I forgot about it being repeated at times on Sci-Fi.

What about PVR? And I think they are repeating this show as well on Weekends if I remember correctly. Otherwise, you can download it online.

They have been showing repeats on Sci-Fi too, I guess they don't want people to miss it, so that they can increase their viewership. I do not have a PVR, only a VCR, and half of the time I forget to set it. So far I have been intrigued enough to catch it the first time around.

Did anyone record this the show on MOnday Oct 9 or friday 13th? I totally MISSED it!!!!!! GAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Help!!!!!!!!

You can go to NBC and rewatched the whole episode.

Ah, now I remember about the dad of the curly haired chick.

Why doesn't the japanese guy(who's AWESOME) not just check out the end of the comic book? 😀

And what has the father of the cheerleader to do with everything? Didn't get that scene either where he watched the movie of the "suicide" attempt.

I think they reached the end of the comic book. It said in the book 'to be continued' in the panel where they drove off to vegas.

The story keeps changing as he is trying to control the things himself. so the comic wont quite tell him right away whats the end (if there is such a thing)

wiki

Oh, WTF!

On October 2, 2006, Emerson, the company that makes the popular In-Sink-Erator garbage disposals, filed suit in federal court against NBC regarding a scene that appeared in the pilot episode. The scene depicted Claire Bennet reaching into an active garbage disposal to retrieve a ring, and severely injuring her hand in the process. Emerson's suit claims the scene "casts the disposer in an unsavory light, irreparably tarnishing the product" by suggesting that serious injuries will result "in the event consumers were to accidentally insert their hand into one."

Emerson is asking for a ruling barring future broadcasts of the pilot, which is available on NBC's website and has already aired on NBC Universal-owned cable networks USA and Sci Fi. It also seeks to block NBC from using any Emerson trademarks in the future.[8]

Well, i have to say this was a very good episode. I'm almost hooked.

PS: Way better off DLing it or simply Tivoing it. Without commercials, it was a much better show.

HAHAHA. The two asian guys wearing the basketball jersey's and singing the backstreet boys song is funny as hell. It's like those asian guys online that wear basketbal jersey's in their rooms and lip sing to boy band songs.

I never catch this show when it's on. But I always happen upon the rerun on Sci-Fi so I think I'm staying caught up. heh.

So the one guy IS a power-stealer dude (Whatever they call him) so that's cool. But I can't stand the brother, I'd rather have the younger one fly.

The mirror-girl is so boring 🙁 Hiro is my fav for sure.
