so, let me put things in perspective for a second here.

Sylar and the younger Petrovic brother are like mirror images of each other. both can assume the powers of people they encounter, sylar by breaking down how something works and fixing his brain to do the same thing, and the Petrovic bro, by just absorbing the powers and let his genes do the mimicing.

so ultimately, it will come down to a fight between these two?

sylar seems weaker atm, not that thats saying much. peters power is passive(so far). meaning if the two were to fight, peter would instantly have all the powers sylar does. though if sylar were to win and steal peters power, he would probably become without a doubt the strongest "hero". Either that or he'll just implode like the terminator in T2... lol

You sure? I always thought Peter could only have on power at a time.

He doesn't need the Haitian around for that. If the Haitian can erase minds AND block powers, those are two totally different things. Nobody else has two powers (unless they're getting them from other people).

Also, notice how badly his daughter was injured when he was around? When she cut herself? He was the only one around, not the Haitian, and she bled and bled. She didn't heal herself until she got to the hospital and he wasn't around.

If it comes down to the two of them, I believe that Peter can mimic ALL of Sylar's powers. Whoever said he can only do one at a time... when has he ever had two people around him, and clearly NOT been able to use more than one power? I don't remember a time. He didn't use Sylar's telekinesis when he was throwing locker doors at him, but that was only because he probably didn't know he could have stopped them.

But yes, if Sylar were to ever get Peter's power, it would be freaking over. Sylar would then not only have all of his own powers, but the powers of anything he faced, making him instantly more powerful than anyone he went up against.

Now, I have a question... invisible man is holding Peter by the neck, Peter is kicking CDs off that table, everyone seems to have no idea why that's happening, even though the two of them are yelling at each other... is invisible man also able to make himself inaudible to those around him?

From the previews of next weeks episode it looks like HRG gets his ass handed to him by Sylar.

"horned rimmed glasses" <- his nickname from when noone knew who he was.
