I am wondering if the list will be broken in to two sets based on the marks that some have vs others (macromedia looking vs the two hashes)

bad and good.

Also I wonder what is going to happen to nikki.

Yeah. It seems that whole part of the show has nothing to do with the main story.

because the hatian guy was nearby to keep him from using his powers...

The Hatian CANNOT block other's powers. He is able to disrupt mind reading and erase memories, but he cannot block powers (this would make him much too powerful).

My theory is that Sylar did not use Eden's body to break the window, he used her gun. Watch the scene again, you can see her arm that was holding the gun being pulled. Like I said in earlier post, he probably manipulated the metal in the gun. Remember in the past episodes where chairs and other metallic objects stuck on the wall where Sylar had struck.

Or perhaps, HRG has powers we are not yet aware of.

ahhh this makes more sense...

Perhaps Claire's Dad is the one who can block powers, and the Haitian man only has the powers of the mind. The fact that he was around the corner in the last episode could have been coincidence.

Yes this was mentioned earlier and I think it makes sense. It also explains why he always leaves the room when he tells Eden or Haitian man to do something. So he doesn't block their powers.

Edit: When Claire's Dad first met Eden after she stole that car, was the Hatian guy there? I don't remember. But I know her power didn't work on him at that time.

I think that may be it more that I think about it.

Save the Cheerleader, Save the World!

i think what future Hiro wanted to do was to stop Sylar from "killing" Claire. someone would've inevitably found her, there would be media coverage, and BAM she starts regenerating on live television. or something like that :p

Yes Hatian man was in the room also. It does make sense that HRG does indeed block powers.

Remember this will be in the same time slot as 24 when it comes back, so set your DVR!!

As for the show, I think Sylar is a complete bad-ass, an awesome bad guy for the show.

Where did you guys get Jan. 22?

Next Episode - Godsend - Jan. 22nd 2007

great link!

Peter is absorbing something...but later it's definitely a different character.

Is Slyar being erased?

I think mentioning God makes this a definite not to miss episode in 7 weeks ;)

I still don't get Hiro with the T-Rex...did he say 'I have to step on a bug' when this was shown?

I think Hiro was reffering to the saying if you step on something as small as a bug (in the past) it could bring dire consequences in the future. Much like when Homer from the Simpsons travels back in time with the timemachine toaster and kills a mosquito, then he sneezes on a dinosaur and kills all them off...

And yes, I find Nikki and her whole family very annoying. All they do is take precious minutes up.

Sylar looks at peoples brains and figures out how they work... ie. How they use thier powers.

The latest graphics novel on the NBC site has a nice little spoiler for you guys.

As for some speculation.

I agree that you guys are on the right track with HRG. Looks like he has some kind of power blocking ability. I believe that he configured Sylar's cell to block his powers but Eden turned it off in her attempt to kill him.

I think Nathan knows a heck of alot more than is being let on. I'm thinking he and HRG both "work" for this unseen Linderman guy.

Now for a true spoiler I read on another website. Apparently Hiro gets that sword from a museum.

I do not think the Haitan dude or Cheerleaders dad can stop powers because they couldn't stop Nathan from escaping by flying.

Maybe it's just a resistance to special powers. Other can't use their powers on him. Since Nathan wasn't doing anything to him, he could still use his power.

when eden was about to manipulate sylar into shooting himself, he couldn't wait any longer as that would have meant death.

When he was in the cell, I noticed that there wasn't anything in there or around that was clearly metal. His bed support was a big cement block. The food tray that was pulled into the cell was plastic or glass.

I'm not sure what to make of him. At one point, he does get angry but does not do anything besides banging on the glass . Maybe that was to show that he's powerless there.

I think he just has the power to block mind based powers, not things like flying, healing, moving through solid objects, etc.

This is a reference to the Ray Bradbury story "A Sound of Thunder" in which time travelers hunt animals already about to die, at one point one of them steps off the safe path and kills a butterfly. When they return to the future the world is changed due to the change they made in the past. (It was also made into a ****** movie).
