Damn, just finished. Pretty good episode overall. The whole Sylar painting with his mom's blood was definitely the creepiest part.

What a stupid episode. The writers are just horrible. Since apparently they have now set the precedent that the person doesn't need to use his power for Peter to suck them up, that means that Peter has Sylar's and his mothers power (whatever it is) now. Also, why hasn't he been reading anyone's mind? Thats possibly his most useful power when dealing with people around him.

He doesn't realize he can read minds. It was never stated to him that he could gather that power together because he didn't know what was going on when he encountered Parkman. He simply had a feedback headache.
He knew Ted was a radioactive dude, and so knew that was the power he could gather.

He could always get their powers just by being near them. He could fly before Nathan flew with him, he painted the future and wasn't around Isaac when he did it, he healed up fine at homecoming and wasn't near claire when she "used" her power. Etc.
So, the running theory is that Hiro chickened out at the last second and that caused the time stop to go haywire? I would think if he lost control of it, everything would restart.
Dunno... there's more to it I reckon. How the frack did Sylar escape the timestop??

I think you shouldn't throw around the term 'idiot' so lightly when you seem to be dangerously close to one yourself...there's a reason Peter took the gun and gave it to Claire as plan B, did you miss that part?

I think you should take your own advice since you're the idiot who thinks a bullet will stop peter. what makes you think that? it took a large piece or glass and a large stick to stop both peter and claire, what makes you think a little bullet will cause him to die?

Well, didn't a bullet stop Claire when Parkman shot her in the house? It made her "dead" and gave them enough time to get her upstairs and away, so they could shoot peter and at least stop him for the time being

Yeah, bullets in brains kill people. So do shards of glass or sharp sticks ? yet Peter and Claire both 'died' and came back to life when such objects were removed from the brain. The bullet wouldn't necessarily kill him permanently, but it would stop him from going nuclear because he would be 'dead'. When Claire was 'dead' she could go through the autopsy and not heal, so I think it is VERY clear the powers are not functional if the brain is not.
Remove the bullet and Peter probably comes back to life (just like we have seen with the glass and stick), all the while he doesn't go nuclear because he is 'dead'. Pretty simple. Heck, it happened before when Peter was losing control, Claude knocked him unconscious and Peter stopped (further evidence of no brain activity, no powers). I don't know about you but I'd say a bullet would be even more fool proof than a fist.
Care to make a bet that Peter doesn't blow up next episode? 100% failure rate according to you, you should take the bet because you couldn't lose, you "know" it to be 100%...
The whole reason they want to confront Ted is because they think he might be the one that explodes, if they just hide like your very poorly thought-out plan includes, then he'd still blowup.
I feel bad for backing you into a corner like this but I did give you some outs, you just refused to take them. Sorry.
