"Kill the Cheerleader, Save the Show"

Seriously. Claire needs to DIAF. It is the only proper way to kill her seeing as how it would be full circle.

I tried with season 2, I really did, but I just couldn't do this anymore. Maybe I might start watching again...

The one character they need to kill has a power the prevents her from being killed.
Oh, the irony.

I thought it was alright... well, compared to some of the crappier episodes. Mia from Californication was in the show... and I still can't stand her character from that show, so I'm kinda "meh" at her being in the new season.

who the hell were the carnie people ?
i missed the first 5 min of the show

They didn't really introduce them from what I've seen. I assume they'll be part of the "problem" in this volume as it's obvious they are trying to mess with time. Although, in the beginning it showed that ink guy was moving the earth with his hands. But malevolent Irish people look cool at least 😛.

just the little bit of talk about this episode and I plan on going home and deleting the episode off my DVR and forgetting this ever existed

Just watched it. What a bunch of convoluted nonsense. I really don't understand how someone in a position of power actually okayed this crap.

We gave up on the show about half way last season and this first episode is just another nail in the coffin. How can two hours be last satisfy and more commercial filled than one of the first season.

Because a two hour block has more commercials than a one hour block?

I enjoyed it and will keep watching, albeit with tempered yet hopeful expectations.

With Hulu, I'm not giving anything else up to watch it so I'm willing to keep an open mind for now.

So, how about sylar again finding the dark side. 🙂

Of course most of sylar is still in parkman, so that should be an interesting twist.

And does this mean nathan is now gone for good?

I want to know what is going on with the carnival guy?? He can control the earth, and move it around. He can control ink, and make it show him pictures of people of interest on that girls back. He can also make the ink turn into a hand and choke people. And with this past episode, apparently he can make the entire carnival, with rides and everything, appear out of nowhere, and then disappear. His powers are so vague, and each one has no relationship to the other, how would you define his abilities?

I was wondering the same thing. I missed the last 2 episodes last season...was he killed off? I knew that Sylar had assumed his shape, and they implanted Nathan's mind into that body, but now Sylar has transformed back into his own body and Nathan's mind is gone. So where is Nathan's body?

Nathan helped take oùt sylar but died in doing so. What we all asked at the time though is why they didn't just use claire blood to heal him, but that was never explained.

I think the main carnie has power over earth, which is why he makes his own ink (containing a large amount of soil I'm sure). As for moving it to get sylar, pretty sure that stuff is done by one of the many other carnie members he similar to the black invis chic.

Stupid

This show didn't just jump the shark, it jumped one of those giant mutant airplane eating sharks.

If ya know what I mean.

TV comprehension FTL, read lupi's post

I'm liking this season so far but cautiously, it could go either way. The deaf chick doesn't seem to have a reason yet and that bothers me, they have too many characters and threads to add another for no good reason.

Oh and apparently Peter CAN only have one power at a time still...

Perhaps he is an empath, like Peter and Gabriel

This is the first series I actually deleted from my DVR recording list. Even when Jericho went to crap I kept recording it and eventually got around to watching the back fill. Heroes is so bad I would rather leave my fond memories of the characters in tact. Claire a lesbian for ratings grab? WTF?

Actually, no, not yet at least. Her roommate is a lesbian and she kissed Claire toward the end of the episode.
